[ 弾幕風 Tutorial ] Configuring AppLocale and tweaking Notepad++

/! /! /! Description update 12-03-2016: ph3’s latest version doesn’t require it to be run with AppLocale. If you’re using the latest version, you can skip to 1:45

This global tutorial is usable for 0.12m and ph3, since both engines need to be run under Japanese localisation.

If your Danmakufu crashes, it is usually due to the existence of Japanese font or characters inside the script folders. The Rumia examples have these. The solution is to launch Danmakufu with AppLocale under Japanese 日本語 localisation or change your system locale settings. Some people don’t wish to change their system local and therefore AppLocale is a good tool from Microsoft to do this.

Notepad++ is more advanced than the traditional notepad. Multi-tab code view, applying styles and many more. In this tutorial I will show you how to activate the colours for the code to give you a better overview. Debatable, 0.12m/ph3 are roughly based on C/C# but I will be using C# here myself.
