Here, I remove the old Flash Header in my html & css website to replace it with the nivo slider jQuery animation slideshow for images. The software I use is Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, but should work with *all* platforms. (make adjustments where necessary)
It is expected that you to have a basic knowledge for working with html, css, resizing images, and Dreamweaver. I am no Adam Khory with flash building, but this gets the job done!
This is a better tutorial than the original tut I did for my school mate years ago.
If you do this and it does not work, check your links. That is usually the problem.
I also fix a problem with links on top of the slider. The slider was making my links disappear. The z-index was the culprit. (around 15:48)
1. You need to know basic html! (duh)
2. Change the code to fit your needs! (duh)
3. Does *NOT* contain info on *HOW* plugin works!
EDIT Aug-2013: I did a newer BETTER one:
::::::THIS WILL NOT SHOW HOW THE GUTS OF THE PLUG IN WORK!!!::::::
This is my first EVER tut. I had a cold!
This was done with Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 via CamStudio & Firefox.
The video was edited with Adobe Premiere Pro cs4
EDIT: I realize I fly through this WITHOUT explaining too much, but when I created this tutorial, it was intended for a fellow student. I do, however, expect you to know at-least some basic knowledge of HTML & CSS.
EDIT AGAIN: You haters need to learn html!
GAWD! WTF! STOP HATING! Plenty of people find this useful!
